The global environmental crisis, characterized by climate change, global warming, environmental pollution, and the degradation of natural resources, has intensified due to the excessive use of fossil fuels. This condition demands solutions that are not only technical in nature but also grounded in ethical and moral values. This study is based on several research questions: how does the use of fossil fuels contribute to the global environmental crisis, how does the concept of green fiqh (fiqh al-bi'ah) in Islam view environmental preservation, and how can the values of green fiqh be actualized through the development of renewable energy in addressing the global environmental crisis. This research aims to analyze the concept of renewable energy fiqh as an actualization of green fiqh values in responding to contemporary environmental issues. The research employs a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach through the examination of relevant journals, books, policy documents, and Islamic legal sources. The findings indicate that renewable energy is consistent with the principles of green fiqh, which emphasize human responsibility as khalifah (stewards) on Earth to preserve the environment. The development of renewable energy is also in line with the objectives of Islamic law in promoting public welfare (maslahah) and preventing environmental damage. Therefore, renewable energy serves not only as an ecological solution but also as an implementation of Islamic values that support sustainable development.
