The family is the cornerstone of a harmonious and prosperous society. In Islam, the concept of “baiti jannati” describes a household filled with peace, love, and blessings. However, the realities of modern life show that many families experience conflict due to a lack of understanding of mental health. This article aims to examine the importance of mental health literacy in building a sakinah family, as well as to emphasize that material sustenance alone is insufficient to create domestic harmony. The research method used is a literature review (library research) employing a descriptive-analytical approach through scientific sources, journals, and Islamic literature. The results of the study indicate that mental health has a significant influence on the quality of communication, parenting styles, and emotional stability within the family. Mental health literacy helps couples understand their own psychological conditions and those of family members, enabling them to build more empathetic and supportive relationships. Thus, building a “baiti jannati” family requires a balance between meeting material needs and psychological well-being.
