Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) of Group 17 in Kaibahan Village, Kesesi District, Pekalongan Regency, served as a community service program. This KKN program focused on two areas: Ecotheology and Land Management. The activities aimed to raise awareness among the Kaibahan Village community about the importance of environmental protection and assist in the data collection of waqf land certificates in Kesesi District. This research method used a participatory action research approach through observation, interviews, direct data collection, and outreach. The main program included data collection on waqf land belonging to mosques and prayer rooms to facilitate the legalization, verification, and updating of data on uncertified waqf land. In the ecotheology area, we conducted outreach on waste management and ecobrick making at SDN 01 & SDN 02 Kaibahan to educate students about the importance of environmental protection and reducing plastic waste. In addition, the catfish aquaponics program, joint exercise with PKK mothers, waste bank management, and socio-religious activities such as tahlilan (recitation of the Qur'an), chanting the zanji (recitation of the Qur'an), and rotib al-haddad (religious gatherings) strengthen ties within the Kaibahan Village community. Overall, the Community Service Program (KKN) of Group 17 contributed to raising awareness among the Kaibahan Village community about the importance of waste management, assisting in the processing of waqf land certificates, and encouraging the Kaibahan community to progress and achieve sustainable village empowerment.
